try and find out what the song was for their first dance at the wedding.

I,m still standing by Elton John.

just to wish you congratulations.

The Wedding March?

Seems appropriate.

Hope it goes well.

if poss you could try to get the song they danced to at their wedding. ask aunt/uncle friends they may know. or if not find something they both love

congratulations and celebrations song (Not sure of actual title but!!)

Gold - Spandau Ballet (It's their Gold anniversary after all and good 'classical' pop)

How about "The Anniversary Waltz", not sure who it,s by though

something that means something to the both of them, ask them discreetly about their music, and what song would they like to be played if they ever got the chance to marry again, maybe something by frank sinatra?

You'll never walk alone?
Simply the best?

puppy love by the osmonds...
cherish-kool and the gang the words are lovely
love lift us up-jennifer warne not sure of the bloke
perfect moment-martine mcucheon
i will think of more and maybe when they come in lead them to the dancefloor for a dance so everyone can see them then do the talking that would be magical

Find out their favorite song whether it be from their younger years together, as singles, their wedding song, their anniversary song, their favorite movie song. Ask them or inquire of it from their friends.

I'd say the traditional bridal march. Or if you know "their" song, then use that.

if you want something lively and classical and heart lifting, then you should definitely try the song "the entertainer" by scott joplin. it's a piano piece, and sort of old, but it's the most beautiful, joyful, liveliest song i have ever heard. it's rag music(ragtime), and if someone in your household knows how to play the piano then they could play it, or you can just buy the disk. good luck!

You can find out what the music was played at thier wedding for the year 1957. Ask sonmeone alive who attended, have a look through their old record collections or ask your parents what sort of music they got married to, it is likely to be classics and wedding music can be downloaded easily.
Why not try wedding March or some of the classic wedding music.
You could find out what was popular for the month and the country your parents had their wedding.

congratulations by cliff richard would be cool

Do you know what was played as they danced at their wedding?
You could google hits 1958 to see what was popular, but finding a copy of those songs might be difficult.

I would try to find out what they had played as their wedding song. my mum n dad celebrated their 40 wedding anniversary a couple yrs ago and they had their weddin song played it was lovely, i actually struggled to get them a pressie but in the end i made them a great scrap book with pics of them and kids and grandkids and pets in it. i also put some funny quotes in what they used to say to us when we were kids:) they loved this pressie which i was glad about

"The Anniversary Waltz" by Al Jolson (1947).
