I need help with a song by U2....One?!
Question: I can't figure out what it means when it says "We get to carry each other, carry each other One. Could someone please help me to understand. I know what the song means except that part, it is driving me nuts! =P

It just means that we're all in it together, this life. We have to carry each other--as in support and rely on each other, look out for one another.
I think where you're getting confused is by thinking of the word "one" as the end of a literal sentence in that line.
They're not saying, "we get to carry each other one", they're saying "we get to carry each other", and then moving on to sing the title phrase, "one". "One" is separate from the previous sentence or line.
i think that it may mean that while we help people out, we also help people help people. hence "carrying each other one" is like saying "hey, you carry these and i'll carry the others"
Carry each other with support. Like in a relationship you are one with someone and sometimes you need to carry each other.
It dates back to the Roman times when the spartans would carry there weak into battle to be killed first. That drove me nuts also till I researched it
The two carry each other...they have come together they are one..they are have tough times but they have always carried each other....
I'm guessing Bono wrote this about his wife Ali when they were in a rough spot..

I think it means that we need to become one planet and help each other through life.
I think that the song is just lyrically done like that too make it sound radio friendly....One Love....One Life....The theme of One keeps going around. I think in that case its just supposed to Carry the theme of "One" over to the musical bridge.

Just one person's opinion but I think its just done so that the theme comes back around.
It probably means we have to help each other out and get along with each other and tolerate our differences
