I'm going To have to disagree about AC/DC somewhat.
Some of their material is boring and repetitive, however when they are on their game...
Nobody but Nobody hits with as much Piledriving Brutal Force as AC/DC
Besides...Hells Bells is one of the most brutally powerful Metal Songs ever recorded
AC/DC deserves \m/ \m/ just for that song alone.

What is your point? I don't like them but I certainly wouldn't make fun of anyone that does. Your just ignorant and need to grow up. If you don't like their music then don't listen to it. SIMPLE.

Anyway, no I disagree.- they give the fans exactly what they want. ie: straight up, no bs, hard rock.

i never had a great liking for AC/DC but they did revolutionize metal.
i do not enjoy the vocals, it sounds like a little girl taking it in the butt, and the music is mediocre, and angus is overrated, but they are alright
i hate most of the crap from the 80's, but i'd say AC/DC was probably the best, compared to Poison and Whitesnake
I don't agree at all, they put their time in and these days none of the rock bands have to work to get were they are, most of them come from rich families and can afford to start a music career (and all sound the same) unlike most bands from the 70' and 80's who had to make a name fro themselves.

at my school it is not overrated i think they are old but everybody inmy school wears my t shirts and listen to there music and the band is like 40 years older than us (we are 12-13)
They may have been overrated at times, but not their overall body of work. And they are far from crap.

i'm going to disagree completely with the overall idea and with two of your specific points
the vocals are not terrible, certainly not great, but it's the sound that they made popular...it's part of the entire experience of listening to their songs
the music is repetitive, i will give you that, a lot of their songs sound very alike, but then again it's what made them so good to begin with

ac/dc is the king of hard rock, they changed the sound of rock and roll forever, bottom line
