What song did you always have the lyrics wrong?!

For me it was AC/DC's Dirty Deeds. I always thought they were singing 'Thunder Chief' instead of 'Done Dirt Cheap'.

My brother listens to rap and I asked him why his song kept saying "White Banana" but I found out they were saying "Wipe me down" haha so now they sing the song as White Banana to tease me.
There was also a Misfits song that I always thought they said "Oh I, came from hell baby" then I found out it was "Oh I came from hell they came"
I actually thought it was Thunder Cheif (actually thunder cheep) as well haha! Now I don't feel like such a jerk anymore :) My husband sung it and swore it was "Done her sheep" or soemthing along those lines. hahaha!


Oh my god! I messed up the lyric again for the Misfits song!
"Oh I, think they came from hell!"
I always that it was, "Trying to find my lost sugar and salt" Rather then "trying to find my lost shaker of salt." Report It

    • In Alanis Morisette's "You Oughta Know," I always thought that the lyrics "it's not fair to deny me" were "it's not fair to the night air." I can still hear it the old way, but it was quite a shock when I first realized it.
