Why are there not many black people who appreciate pop music?!

black people and white people, depending where they're from, have similar cultures, but there is always some differences.
I'm just assuming black people dont like it because they have a different cultural upbringing.
Actually, lots of black people DO like pop and rap.
I dunno. I love pop music. But, i guess it would be for the same reasons that some white people don't like it.

Thats not so true because many black artist were once considered "Pop" music. I guess it is all in where you grew up as a child and what you were influenced by also. There are not many white people that care for soul, r&b, or hip/hop...it is just a matter in what appeals to you as a person. Music is beautiful and with that being said, it is all carries the same voice, love, pain, good times and bad times. You have to listen with your heart also.
