I have taught middle school and high school vocal music since 1971. Mu husband, son, and daughter-in-law all teach the same area of vocal music. OF COURSE you can do this! There are a great number of arts songs and folk songs that are appropriate for young men of your age. As your voice changes, you will need to adjust the key/starting pitch. go to www.jwpepper.com - check out vocal collection, especially those for the changing voice. Some even come with a CD that will help you. The Jay Althouse collections are good - Folk Songs, etc. Also the collection Songs for Bass in a Comfortable Range (I think that is the title - I am at home, not my school office). There are many collections of SHOW songs, but they often cover a wide range and although young people LIKE them - they are not always suitable for beginning singers - sorry. If you follow the numerous links in the various vocal categories, you will find a LOT. Of course, a private teacher is the BEST for you. Find someone who at LEAST has a degree in voice - and someone with a degree in music education is best. They will be most likely to help a younger singer such as yourself.

I do not need to tell you that there are fewer boys than girls who pursue serious vocal study - so as you get good, you will be AMAZED at all the door that open up for you. I have seen this happen HUNDREDS of times in my career - GO FOR IT!!!!!!!!

The big question with all males is, when does one's voice break? It is wise to wait until the change has fully happened before attempting any serious opera/classical things which are very demanding, as with doing wrong things at wrong timing you can easily cause damage in your throat!

all things are possible if you work at it. Don't listen to anyone that tels you it can't be done.

It IS possible. I've been in choirs since I was 13, and some of the boys were the best Classical singers I've ever heard.
Your best bet is to get a Vocal Coach. He/she can teach you the proper techniques to Classical Singing. He/she will be able to help you so you don't harm your voice.

anything is possible and nothing is impossible....maybe you can get some vocal lessons and then you could start from there...go on some broadway musicals or audition for some musicals
