Because they have recognition, a huge fan base & talent.
The had really big songs/albums that year. I know-they should mix it up a bit. But they are big for a reason. I wish the newer people would get some more recognition. There is some really good talent out there-Whiskey Falls, Jake Owen, Chuck Wicks, Jason Aldean. Really good stuff.
Probably because the same people vote every year...at least the academy doesn't change much from year to year
because there are no good up and coming artists (sorry if i sound like a smartass but its true)
