Question: I was trying to come up with something different where no one would have to google to get the answers. What do you all think of the ingredients questions I have been asking? Would you like to see more of them? Thanks for your input.

pardon my intrusion but in all honesty...when I read this..I wasn't going to say a word but now feel a need to. You have every right to post whatever questions you like Tommy and the fact that people participate should acknowledge for you that it is enjoyable.
What I find somewhat unsettling is your statement that you wish to exclude certain individuals. I think that is a little rude to openly admit you chose to make exlusions. You don't know that someone who listens to Carrie Underwood might not also have an appreciation for Classic artists. I think that they would take this as an insult and I don't think that you want or intend to insult other members.
I know full well that you disporove of anyone who chooses to use an outside source to gather information so I just overlook what I do not know offhand. That would be a reasonable approach and I also think it is what most people in fact do.
I realize that it is impossible for me to read your inflection or tone in text but your rebuttal to Tex sounded to me as a third party, to be somewhat abusive in tone and unecessary.
I will tell you that when I look for something to post, I gather some of that information from outside sources and also...if I had no interest in learning more of an artist, it would be extremely difficult for me to do so without the aid of the internet because I don't have the time of day to spend it in a library or the funds to subscribe to media, cable or magazines. When I do, I fully list it as my source.
Let's face it, each of us that post a trivia question are in fact bending the rules and guidelines of YA and thier Question answer Format. We have only been allowed the ability to continue with it because other members enjoy participating. I myself am guilty of it because I find it fun and interesting.
I think you should continue to do what you do and enjoy the people that choose to participate but I don't think it is fair or kind to be rude to others. It hurts peoples feelings, draws lines in the sand and possibly reflects badly on you to those who may read this and have no knowledge of you and not even respond.
I am sure that was not your intention but it bears a striking resemblance to me as to what prompted bad behavior here earlier and I am sure most would agree that we wish to no longer have any more of that.

cool way to ask questions. If my fingers were faster I MIGHT ACTUALLY BE THE FIRST TO ANSWER ONE CORRECTLY. See the caps I have a sight problem.
I agree with Presto40. It would be alright if everyone knew it all (like some) but unfortunately we don't all have the answers. And some find it a challenge in it self to search for the right answer weather it's google, ask or some other search engine. If that's a big problem on here (which it seems it is) maybe people should be selective on who's questions they answer. I could care less if anyone googles or if they know it off the top of their heads. Like I've said before, this is all in fun. and it should be fun for everyone, and no one should feel bad about having to google or look some where else for an answer.
Edit: That's not necessarily true Tommy, I myself am proof that you can learn from googling as well as reading up on the answers given here. I know more today than I did when I first started here. It's all in how much that person really wants to learn. If it weren't for you and some others on here I'd be dead in the water with some of these questions. But I have a learned a lot from everyone. And I have also learned as much from searching for the answer. Either way I think it's all up to the individual if they want to google or not. I just feel that it's not right to ask someone not to use their all their resources for finding the correct answers.

I like your ingredient questions, however, I'm not on much, so when I find them, they are already answered! But I think they are good.
You always have interesting ??, but unfortunately I'm not as knowledgeable as others so, I usually skip your ??? I wish I could participate more. Of course if you put more simpler ?? in here everyone and their brother would answer it.. and that takes away the fun of it all... keep up the good work.. have a nice evening..
