I hadn't heard any songs recorded so I checked out his website...he has of course written many many songs for other people, including SOME BEACH by Blake Shelton. He does have an album out called SOMETHING FOR THE RODE.
I hadn't heard that name in ages, Sure do miss his voice, but as Roni mentioned he has written many a great song for others, so maybe he is just writing songs now.
