Can you put old drum heads on new drums?!

Question: I just got a new set that unfortunately destroyed my budget. The heads sound horrible, so I was wondering if I could take the heads off my old set since they are the same sized drums mostly. They are pretty new heads, only played on lightly for about a month.

Yes, of course!!! LOL
There is nothing wrong with that at all.
Just play them until they wear out.
Then you go buy some new ones
and then put em on again....
Good luck

For sure, dude. Like the other guy said, play 'em till their either broken or wrinkled. Old drum heads sometimes can sound pretty cool. If you've only played them for a month, don't even think about buying new ones for the new kit. The heads you have are probably still almost flawless. Make sure drum sizes are the same, though.
