Bullet is my favourite band at the moment, I absolutely adore them. They've got a great image and and even better sound, like old school metal riffs and heartfelt, passionate vocals. Matt Tuck is such a compelling and charismatic frontman, with an amazing voice and incredible guitar skills. He and fellow axeman Padge share guitar duties equally, dividing solos and riffs perfectly. Jason James is one of the best bass players in modern metal, and he makes for a dream back-up screamer. Drummer Moose Thomas does what he is supposed to, he seems like a regular bloke that loves to goof around, but onstage he is a wild animal, bashing his drum kit with power and precision, anchoring the heaviness and setting up the groove. With a new album to be released late January, Bullet For My Valentine are about to launch phase 2 of their world domination scheme.
"The Poison" has not a dull song on it. I highly recommend any tracks off that album, and also check out "Hand Of Blood", and their new single "Scream Aim Fire", which sounds a little different to songs off The Poison, but it's still brutally heavy.
