Singing Help!!!! (Songs for certain age groups?)?!
Question: hey, i'm a 12 year old girl. i love to sing but i have trouble hitting notes. but i think the problem is that i'm not singing songs written for my age group, i'm singing songs that were written for 14-19 year olds. and since my voice hasn't fully developed yet, its hard to hit thoses notes and sing thoese songs. does anybody know any songs that would be good to help inprove a voice for a 12/13 year old. or just good songs for a 12/13 year old to sing. Please Answer!!!!!!! thanks!!

Hi I have had the same problem! I still have problems hitting the high notes but I sing ALL the time and I just work my voice and try to train my voice to hit the high notes. Good luck!
i think if you really wanted to practice you should try church songs, they are good because you can sing them many different ways. and then when your voice starts to mature then you can move on to more difficult songs.

try singing songs aimed at guys. Indie maybe the plain white T's are a good slow band with nice sounds to them xx

What about Bubbly by Colbie Caillat? TRy and sing you favorite songs and see how you do.
okay, I don't know any songs, but I give kudos to you for singing. Give it a couple years, keep practicing, and you'll do fine. My own girlfriend in fact has a beautiful singing voice, but she doesn't think so, and doesn't like to sing because of that; so the fact that you do like to sing is wonderful. Keep it up!
well if u go to a singing teacher
you can explain ur problem to them and they
can help.
the problem is not that ur singing songs that r too
old for u bc i love to sing
too and i can sing sons from the 60's to
now
but the problem is ur singing songs
above ur voice range.
like i said a singing teacher can help with
finding ur range and the songs that YOU can sing.
