Memphis Slim is a good artist to get into.

If only because of the long, entertaining anecdotes between songs! (Try the album "Nine Below Zero".)

But he was quite a piano player.

Also worth checking out (some are harder to find):

Roosevelt Sykes
Pinetop Perkins
Charles "Cow Cow" Davenport
Eddie Boyd

And it's fun to check out all the stride and jump blues guys too, or the New Orleans and other styles:

Professor Longhair
Fats Domino
Tuts Washington
Dr. John
Pinetop Smith

try to find some stuff by long john baldry

Was gonna make some suggestions, but Bowzer has some good ones!

Check out anything in the "Jump Blues" sub-genre. That sort of stuff is very boogie-piano based.

Go check out John Mayall. He was a huge influence on Eric Clapton. He played Piano, Harmonica, and it is really unique stuff. He was big during Vietnam Era. He made music to help the troops have happy dreams in spite of all the madness. He has alot of 12 bar Blues that show different varieties of the same concept.
