Hmm. Strangely enough, I found mine in a first-aid kit after I split my tongue on a clarinet reed at 2a.m. You might try an angry music session at midnight or something, it could be hiding there.
Sometimes mine hides in my ugly futon. Maybe yours could be in the couch?
