Greatest musician of all time?
He's a good conductor. His interpretations are questionable at times, but not bad. But Ludwig von Beethoven composed, conducted, and played, Karl Maria von Weber did the same, Johann Sebastian Bach did the same, Leonard Bernstein composed, conducted, played, and wrote theater, do I need go on?
Give me a break, greatest of all time.
You are vastly exaggerating his musical importance, IMO.
No, I wouldn't agree.

agree

No I disagree.

no, ... that was ian curtis

Very good point. Can you nudge him in any way?

he's darn good, whether or not he composes.. but the greatest of all TIME? not easy to judge. and a personal call, besides

No.

No way. Placido Domingo is the greatest musical phenomenon of our time. I don't think you can really mean "of all time": he wouldn't even rank amongst the great musical geniuses of the past.

To my mind, Placido Domingo is in his 70's and still going strong.

He has sang all of the major tenor roles: Italian, French, German, you name it.

Is a competent orchestral conductor, and the current Director of a major opera company. His varied talents are beyond belief; and for someone to have sung as long as he has, and still be great at it, is simply mind-boggling.
