i would like to re-live 96 because for me that was a great year for r&b music. although i was only 8 years old i remember listening to ginuwine, aaliyah, tlc, jodeci, montell jordan, brandy, mary j blige. back then songs actually had a meaning unlike todays music (although i admit i luv todays music!). plus the videos were creative not the same old club theme/in da hood videos. and the girls in da video weren't video hos yet lol.
i would like to re-live 94-98 when people like total, monica, brandy, case, montell jordan, and several others were HOT.

awww man i would so take 95 - 99 ....... IMO thats when music was hot. total was killin it. xscape, monica..... yes sir! the list goes on.
2003/2004/2005, Beyonce was everywhere and her new hit Crazy in love was the years favorite song. B had the Adults and even the toddlers trying to to her dacing plus I lot of other singers came out with some of their best cds. Let's not forget about our Usher. 2004 was his year he came back stronger than ever. 2005 Chris Brown is the prince of R&B he will continue to raise to the top Both of his cd's have gone multipaltuim!! 2008...... Let's hope we get some great cd MJ and Whitney Houston are suppose to come back lets hope they can bring it!! Sorry I know your question said one year, but I had to metion the others................LOL
Oh def. the mid 90s...The 90s had great MUSIC period...
90-98 alot my favorite songs came out during that time
probably (88'-06') those were the good years of music!!!
