Well, part of it seems to be influenced by Lewis Carroll's Through the Looking Glass, commonly referred to as Alice in Wonderland. Between the "off with their heads" and the "jump from a book..." it calls to mind the expectation that everyone seemed to place on Alice, as well as the fact that she herself is reading a book when she "jumps" into the rabbit hole. "Melt and flow... A thousand different versions of yourself" could also refer to her self-awareness and the changes she undergoes through out the novel (remember the classic scene where she must eat to shrink herself?)
I don't really see a hidden message or a central theme being directed to the listener... to me it's simply a re-telling of a classic tale, filtered through a darker mirror.
I think it's about being yourself and not caring what others think, and just letting it all out.
