Can anyone tell me what this piece of music is?!
Question: it was on classic fm last night in the top 100 , and i think the composer was call grant or greg , but i cant remember his second name, maybe edwards, the music sounded african and am sure the word amis was in the title

Try http://www.classicfm.co.uk/playlist.asp - you can do a search by day and time to get the complete list of what they were playing. I've had a quick look there for last night's music, and based on the "Amis" in the title and the African sound, I'm guessing it may well be "Adiemus 1999" by Karl Jenkins.
E-mail classic fm and they will supply a playlist for last night.
You can check it out from the Classic FM's playlist, just go to www.classicfm.co.uk and there select "playlist". Then look for the correct date and time to find it out!!
Are you sure it was not the Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg ?
The music may have been by Afro-American composer William Grant Still although I could find no reference to a piece with the word amis in it.
