What are some good/easy songs to play on electric guitar?!
Question: I just got a guitar on Christmas, I've been playing it everyday. So far, I can play:
takin care of business : bachman turner overdrive
iron man : black sabbath
come as you are : nirvana
smells like teen spirit : nirvana
heat of the moment : asia
smoke on water : deep purple
my brothers songs that he made up : my brother
bad to the bone : Zz top
those are just a couple of the ones i learned. I like classic rock. So can anyone tell me some other easy ones? I've also tried acdc too.
im just now trying acoustic, but i prefer electric for right now. THANKS!!

I have an electric guitar and I'm taking lessons. I am in love with Green Day and my guitar teacher is teaching me how to play Fashion Victim from their album Warning. It's a really awesome and catchy song and it's easy, too. It's not classic rock but it is a fun song to play.
green day is a good starting band, if you hate them like i do you can try the gathering. all the chords in "mandylion" are power chords, that's 8 songs, beautifully done, and you can find some inspiration with them prolly
