Avenged Sevenfold: Really going down the tubes?!
Question: If you compare their first albums, STST and Waking the Fallen, their newer albums are really horrible. There's a few good songs on the new albums, but who else thinks they've taken a turn for the worst?
(Critical Acclaim, Gunslinger and A Little Piece of Heaven were good though.)

Everyone is asking this...
But, they ARE still good, and they DO still care about their fans. On their site (I believe) they had an explanation for their changing sound. And if your only point is that they don't scream anymore, then you must not care much for their safety. Remember, M. Shadows can't scream anymore, for medical reasons. Aside from that, that's not even a valid reason to stop liking a band. I still like them, in fact, I'm going to see them again next year.
No, I in about 3 months Hair Metal will come back, and I mean COME BACK! My Chemical Romance and Fall Out Boy will be gone so fast they won't know what hit them. Avenged Sevenfold will lose their last drop of credibility and become superstars.

no, i just feel that people are bringing out theyre music like they used to. they have extrememly great songs. and i think their new album is pretty freakin great!
I agree. The older stuff is far better.
There are too many bands that are releasing new albums which are nothing like their old stuff, making them sound worse.
I think it is because they want to get into the charts and couldn't do with their old stuff because it isn't mainstream enough.
