What's the difference between rap and hip hop?!
Question: wow you people are retarted. all of you people who answered are really retards,... hip hop is a culture of graffiti. djing. rapping or mcing. which is rap.. beatboxing. and b-boying or wat people call know a days breakdancing. though b-boying is more not for flash and show its like for the streets.. graffiti isnt reallly considered a strong part of hip hop its the only part to be illegal. which i like it like that i write graffiti i have been writting graffiti for 5 years. i know people who have been writting it for like 20 years or like 10. graffiti dosent or isnt old school train writting and old school wildstyle like it used to be. basically in some sense. people belive hip hop is dead. like the orginal state of mind and action that occured in harlem and the south bronx in new york city.. the media thinks or yahoo answeres put hip hop/ rap.. which isnt true there not the same thing.. RAP is a piecie of hip hop a broken off picece and probally the one with the most media coverage.SOME idoits seem the think rap is like gangsta rap. and hip hop is like kayne west styles.. there wrong its all mcing. mcing. or rap as its called. which stand for rythem and poetry... See there is allot of idoits in the world who answer this question with saying they all suck or one is this and the other is this. really its a part of hip hop..
