Answers: I think the 80s (Billy Idol, Paul Engelmann, Kim Wilde)

70s and 80s
Black Sabbath
Zeppelin
Metallica
Ozzy
Crue
Skynard
AC/DC
Queensryche
Iron Maiden
Judas Priest
Just to name a few of the excellent bands from that era.

The 1960's.

I totally agree with you I loved the 80's altho the 90's are a very close 2nd

Depends what ur into i guess but as far as legendary stuff goes the 80's does it for me..

60's and 70's
classic rock the the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!

torn between 60's and 80's both genre's have great songs

Depends how old you are. My mum will think the 60s, but me (a teen) will obviously think nowadays.

60's hands down.

70's-90's

kiss 70's
led zepplin 70's
motley crue 80's
metallica 80's

Ouch! Tough one, either 80s or 90s, but I'll go with 90s cuz that decade had my favorite band of all time, Nirvana.

I guess great minds think alike. I too feel the 80's had the best music. Every Sunday night, I listen to the 80's rewind radio show: Debbie Gibson, Tiffany, Men Without Hats, Ah-Ha, Tears for Fears, Thompson Twins, the list goes on.

the 60's, the 70's :)

the Beatles, the Faces, the Rolling Stones!

I like rock,blues,soul of 60's 70's 80's 90's 2000's I like blues from the 60's and 70's Rock from 60's and 90's soul from any decade

Without a doubt, the 60's & 70's! Ya know this is a tough question though!! I think you need a star!

probably the 80's but late 70's were sweet

I guess every decade has its own set of great music. It would really depend on which decade had the most impact on you when you were growing up - which songs were being played during the best times of your life so that you become nostalgic while listening to them several years later. For me, it's the 80's music too.

60's. it is like the rennaissance of pop music. the underground (indie, rock, punk) music was great too, but pop music in that decade really sucked (imagine whitney houston, wham and all those cheesy stuff. i like madonna, but michael jackson was far more better when he was younger...)

My favorite is the 80s to early 90s.

Poison, GNR, Motley Crue, Cinderella, Skid Row, Def Leppard, Warrant, Tesla, Bon Jovi, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Nirvana and Soundgarden.

The 60's is considered the best decade of music ever. I grew up in the 70's, and that was also a great decade until the disco era. The 80's were the weakest by far, and the nineties bounced back with grunge and other good artists. I would say the greatest decade is 1965-1975.

i was a teenager n the 80's.the music was the best!. i loved Duran Duran,Wham,Spandau Ballet,Culture Club,Pet Shop Boys,Bananarama etc. the videos were sooo cheesy but always made me smile. i get really nostalgic for those days!.

late 60's and early 70's where when rock reached its creative peak

As for Rock's music milestones the 70's is the best decade for the birth of Metal, Alternative/Indie and Punk of which most music 30 years later is based on.

I agree, 80's all the way!!

I'm really still stuck in the 80's hair band/heavy metal era. I listen to that genre almost daily. (Satellite Sirrus radio channel 23 plays just that genre). Anything from Bon Jovi & Poison to Iron Maiden & Manowar work for me! My first concert was Anthrax!

Sad though.....in high school my hair was so high it was cropped out of the year book picture! I STILL have all my old concert outfits and leather fringe jackets and big boots :-( I'm so pathetic!

90's
but all 60-99 eras are better than most of the crap brainwashing the nation now.

80's rocked!!! i miss the ramones. but their music lives on.

80's and 90's

70s 80s 90s-sabbath zeppelin iron maiden saxon blitzkrieg judas priest angel witch venom motley crue testament overkill deicide morbid angel metallica megadeth anthrax slayer bathory burzum mayhem death etc....
