Does anyone else think 3 6 mafia are getting bad at rapping?!
Question: Lately three 6 mafia has really dissapointed me. There songs aren't as creative as they used to be like during hcp days. There last album " most known unknown" was when they really switched to more of a pop rap style even though they did have some banging tracks on it. If you heard some of the tracks on the' whatcha starin at' mixtape they were stupid especially 'like money'. It could be that it's just Dj pual and juicy j but they've dissapointed me in there style and creativity. Though 'Dope boy Fresh' was pretty tight and they still make banging beats. I have to wonder there just in the rap game for the money rather then the passion.

Funny, I was just thinking about this. I am listening to Project Pat's new one, Don't Call Me No Mo', and it's just like, "Guys, what happened?" It's not creative at all like it used to be.
I'm from Memphis and we used to listen to 3 6 in high school all the time and I never realized it, you know, at the time, but their **** was so creative, man, and just honest, and unique and real, but I seriously think fame has changed them. I just don't know what's happened to my boys.
Everything is so monotonous now. The beats aren't the same nor the lyrics and it's like the rapping itself is just so tired, man. Juicy and Pat were amazing rappers, but I'm not hearing it now. :(
