Has anyone heard of a blues/jazz singer named Amanda Woods?!
Question: She appeared on a Bill Cosby show quite some time ago In the episode, Vanessa and 2 girlfriends form a singing group, The Lipsticks. Bill believes they need some singing lessons and they visit a nightclub where Amanda Woods is performing. Perhaps Amanda Woods is her stage name??? In any event , does anyone know her real name or recording name? I think her voice is unique and beautiful and I'd like to find some CDs for my own collecion.

Betty Carter (Ms. Amanda Woods), was her real name. She passed away in 1998.
