how can a person choose? they're both very influential bands. I guess it depends on your mood.

led zeppelin and pink floyd are both awesome bands.... but pink floyd would bow down to the gods of rock that are led zeppelin. Led Zeppelin is the greatest band in history, only seconded by the beatles

i would say it's fairly close, but pink floyd wins for me...their lyrics were more powerful and better written imo, especially considering that they went through three different lead singers/songwriters and all of them were successful with the band...zeppelin isn't driven so much by robert plant as they are by jimmy page and john bonham, for some people that would be ok but i take a little more interest in lyrics than the music
I really like both and believe both are excellent in music, but I listen to Led Zeppelin more, and I think they have a wider range of musical choices.
