What is your favourite R&B song of all time?!

Question: I love quite a few.
My favourite of all time is probably anything by Etta James, I love her music, I'm a huge fan - she incorporates blues, soul and jazz as well as R&B into her music.
Right now, my favourite song by her is "I'd Rather Go Blind"

There's too many to choose from

Mama Feelgood - Lyn Collins (as vocalist for James Brown)

ive always liked one wish by ray j- very sweet song.

These questions are so hard, how do you pin down one song when there are so many great R&B songs. I'll go with Fortunate, by Maxwell.

anytime by brian mcknight

People Get Ready - Curtis Mayfield

So many - I have two favorites I can't pick from but hundreds I love - I won't give you a long list like some people might - Stevie Wonder's "Superstition", and The Temptations' "Just My Imagination", two wonderful songs from the 70s, but I listen to everything - by the way they both hit # 1 on the Billboard Pop charts... and probably the R&B charts too, I'm not certain as I don't have a book for the R&B charts and don't know if there was ever one released... happy listening... blessings to you...

There are just too many, but there are two that get my attention every time, "Hypnotized" by Linda Jones & "I'm Gonna Tear Your Playhouse Down" by Ann Peebles.
