Well I'm going to answer against the crowd and agree with you on this one. I understand that people are just trying to defend all the 12 year old teenie bop fanatics out there, but that only goes so far. Since they are all free to voice their opinions on their overwhelming LOVE for these bands, I feel as though I'm just as free to voice my opinions as well.
Now, I don't click on all the questions that state "MCR OR FOB, WHO'S HOTTER?!?!" and rank on the 64573957396735 people who asked the SAME question, but I do think to myself.. alright, enough already. If you want to revolve your entire existence around these bands, by all means.. but PLEASE have enough sense to check if a question has already been asked in the last 3 minutes before re-submitting another one. I think it's funny how all the fans of such bands preach for respect. I don't see them respecting the opnions of everyone else when flooding the Y!A page with repetitive nonsense.
I normally wouldn't waste my time even talking about it because it's not like I really worry about it, rather just get a little annoyed when I have to scroll through 7 pages of duplicated questions before I can answer a decent one on ANY topic other than, "FOB, new or old??", buuut since you asked, I did feel the need to vent, no more no less.
I would even be willing to compromise and not say anything about the kids who are mental for these bands if they would just quit copying one another and ask something original and different. Y!A has a section for already answered questions for a reason... not so people can keep wasting other peoples' time with re-posting same EXACT questions.

A band is a band and if you like them both, well you like them both. It's kind of gay to argue on who is better though. It dosen't make sense. All's you're doing is wasting time. Besides, they are two TOTALLY different kinds of music. It's like arguing over From First To Last and Slipknot. I mean, if you're going to argue about music, it should at LEAST be the same genre. But all in all, I agree 100% with you.

I can't necessarily say MCR and FOB are my favorite bands,but i'm not going to insult the people that do like them.I don't think it's fair to come on Y!A just to bash MCR and FOB fans,the bashers don't wanna be insulted about the music that they like,so why insult the MCR and FOB fans?
I would rather run the risk of being the odd ball out,i just don't feel the need to come on Y!A and put other people down because we don't share the same musical interests,it is rude, unnecessary,immature,and just uncalled for.

you know, when people say how much a band (especially your favorite) suck constantly its just as annoying. No one's making you answer those questions, and if it really annoys you THAT MUCH than you should a.) consider therapy, or b.) get off of Y!A. First of all people just need to shut up about those bands if they have something bad to say about them! They have worked hard to produce their music the way it is and they don't need all of those shallow self-centered pig-headed idiots to trash their music. I don't like all music and all bands but I don't go around trashing them! If you don't like them then stop listening to them and maybe you'll find a band that you do like and you'll stop trashing all of the other bands.
