Switchfoot and EPs with Jon??!
Question: I luvvvv SWITCHFOOT!! Almost everyday I visit their site, listen to at least 20 of their songs, omg, EVERYTHING! I only got two albums...but they definitely rocked hard enough to be my INSPIRATION <333 anyone else relate? BEST BAND everrrr :D
anyway, i learned that jon is going to have these things called EPs. being the slow person i am, what are these "EPs"?? i know he's not going solo, but what other NEWW things are going on with the band?? other than the fact that they're planning to record and tour? or something like that.....

and EP stands for extended play ,not epic, but as the previous answerer said, too long to be a single and too short to be an album
well... basically these days there's nothing much... because the habitat for constuction tour with relient k and ruth is over..
but the 'pacific rim' tour will start where they will go to indonesia, malaysia, singapore..(closest ever for me..but not close enough) they also hope to surf there..according to chad..bit i'm guessing you know that..
switchfoot was featured as the artist of the month on the radio station air1.
and oh! gravity celebrated it's one year anniversary on the 26th..
and jon has said that the new record is going to be Completely different from the other albums.. as a rule 'if you've done it before, you're not doing it again'.. it has to be a challenge..
that should be interesting..

EPs are CDs too long to be singles, yet too short to be considered an album.
They're about 5/6 songs.
I think EP is an abbreviation for Epic, but I'm not sure. I love switchfoot too!!! I saw them in concert a few months ago with Relient K they rocked the house! After wards we waited out by the RVs and Jon and his brother (what's his name?) came out and signed autographs and took pictures with us. It was so great!
