Answers: Claude King Wolverton Mountain.and Melba sang "NO CHARGE"plus numerous duets with George Jones

I hadn't thought of "Wolverton Moutain" in years, thanks for the memory!!

I have "Meet Claude King" on vinyl. An outstanding album, it featured his best-known hit, "Wolverton Mountain," as well as "The Commacharos" (inspired by the John Wayne movie) and a fabulous track called "A Little Bitty Heart."

I remember Melba Montgomery better for her duet partners than her solo stuff. She did "We Must Have Been Out of Our Minds" with George Jones. I have an album they did together, "What's in Our Hearts," that features "The Flame in My Heart," my favorite duet of theirs. Melba also did songs with Charlie Louvin, most notably, the great Bobby Braddock song, "Did You Ever."
