record yourself and send it to record company

A few people ive known about got into the game by going to clubs, djing in nightclubs, performing at indie shows, just check out the scene, its relatively easy to get inside. The ONLY hard part is blowin up. Just try to make the right friends, in right places, so you can try and get deals, or some publicity. Myspace can always get people a little more publicity, but try to get into small shows in stores, underground clubs, nightclubs, etc.
create a good gimmick and corny lyrics..this is the only way to be successful at it this day n age.
