Flyleaf...ROCK Or NOT?!
Question: is flyleaf like a punk/emo band?They ROCK i heard so sick,cassie,all around me,fully alive i was wondering if there were any bands like them and when are they gonna a new album

They're most definitely a rock band. If you had to categorize them, they would be an alternative-metal band, or just hard rock. They aren't punk, they certainly aren't emo. For a band that gets a lot of airplay, I think they're decent. My understanding is they just released an EP of four songs this past October but no word on a new album. About time though since all the songs that got played this year all go back to their debut album from 2005. Talk about the slow road to success!

ummm they are kinda like rock/alternativeish. uhh not any bands i know of resemble the amazing sound of flyleaf but paramore kinda has the same female lead vocal thing going on, you might want to check them out. and they recently came out with a new album called Riot!

Paramore is nothing like Flyleaf, at all.
If you want other bands that have a female vocalist with a similar sound I suggest checking out Eyes Set To Kill, The Birthday Massacre, or A Romance Thesis.
