Help with fender strat whammy bar?!
Question: I have it and all but when i screw it in it just stays there... isnt it supposed to move up and down? mine is just stationary....

If you're asking if it's supposed to rotate a little, then that depends on how tightly you screw it in. Unscrew it one turn and it will be movable.
If you're asking if you can push or pull it, that depends on the Fender bridge style your guitar has. Some allow pushing and pulling, others just pushing.
When you screw it in it doesn't have to screwed completely in (you may have it screwed in too much). To get the whammy effect you will want to position the whammy bar so it is *in line* w/ the strings when you press it. Play a note or a chord and then apply pressure on the whammy bar like you are pressing it into the strings. You can also bend it away from the strings.
yeah, i had that same problem with mine. its supposed to move, but mine was stuck. i just took it off and now its sitting in my closet. i never got it to work properly
unscrew it one turn. it will work then.
