Question: i just got an electric guitar for christmas & was wondering if theres any places to get modern hard rock music tabs/notes from bands like disturbed, slipknot, buckcherry, etc....

they have almost everything! plus if u wanna fork over 60 bucks, get guitar pro (guitar-pro.com) and the computer will actually play the tab for you and show the fingering! but if u dont wanna pay, they have some really good text ones too for free

not only do they have tabs on almost every single band, be it morden or old, they also have free lessons on guitar playing and review and articles on guitars and guitar players other stuff. They also have guitar pro tabs which means they are like sheet music with tabs and the computer plays it out for you with the fingering and tempo everything so it makes it easier. But you need to pay for the programme but there are others that are free and do almost the same thing.

ultimate-guitar.com is definitly the best place to get tabs, ive been using it since i started playing.
also, you can look into getting a program called guitar pro. you can download guitar pro files from ultimate-guitar.com and the program plays it back and lets you listen and you can slow songs down to help learn them. its a great tool for learning.
