Flight of the Bumblebee?!

Question: I've been playing for for 3 months, and I am just beginning, so far it's great. I've heard of this song, and I wanna know if it's very hard. That's what I've heard. If you know, how hard is it and what is so hard about it?

I really dont know much, so ....

Assuming you play the piano, it's actually quite easy to learn. The difficulty is the speed. You should be able to learn it in a week or two at a medium pace. Gradually get faster and faster until you are able to play the song at a rapid pace.

the pacing is very quick. you should download it on mp3. its by franz lizst i think? need quick fingers

Which instrument ; violin, piano ? I doubt that you could play it on any instrument after only 3 months. Five years, perhaps.

It was written by Rimsky-Korsakov, not Liszt. Here's a good Youtube clip of a version for two marimbas:

not easy!

You don't indicate what you have been playing for 3 months. Violin? Piano?

In either case, unless you are some kind of a musical prodigy, I would not attempt it. It would I'm pretty sure, be far beyond your reach.

If you just listen to it, you will easily discern why it is so difficult to play. Go to You Tube, and listen to it.

Wotan

It's pretty hard. I think you'll need to play for awhile if you want to play it up to tempo. You could always start working on it and play it every few months or so to gage how much better you are getting from lessons.
