Question: I am 12 years old and I am inspired by people like Monica and Kiesha Cole. I have a wonderful voice. What can I do with my talent? I do not want it to go to waste. I really want to become famous one day and be a star like hannah montana. I cant sing fast songs and I learn quick. Any ideas what I should do with my talent?

Make a video and post it on as many websites as possible.Some ideal sites are youtube,myspace,friendster,yahoo...Be sure to give me a link when you do so.Can't wait to hear your voice!
look for opportunities to show off your talent. if you go to church, join the choir. join the talent show at your school and do an act. get together with friends and have a karaoke night. you're never getting anywhere if you keep your talent to yourself.
Try participating in school and community musical opportunities. Join a singing contest or a talent search. Join a local choir or get trained by a voice teacher. A voice coach could find many opportunities for you to use your talent.
Record a sample and upload it online. You can then add it to a myspace music page or just keep it handy for when people ask for a sample. There are hundreds of hip hop and rap forums/message boards of recording artists who are constantly seeking female vocalists to sing their hooks. Contact a few of them, and make a portfolio of the best of your songs for a myspace music page. Just advertise yourself anywhere where people are seeking female vocalists. When you have enough of a demand for your talent then you can start to make money on it. You can also check out craigslist.org in their musicians wanted section to see if anyone is seeking a more permanate vocalist.
learn to play as many instruments as you can to accompany you, this will help to impress! why dont you share your talent with your family by singing christmass songs with them
make a video of yourself and upload it to youtube.
record yourself and send it to a radio station.
try and get a demo.
go looking for ppl who can make you a recording artist. write to sony bmg etc.
