No way. CL Smooth was a good rapper. His rhymes were ok but he had a good voice and delivery.
no cl smooth, and pete rock are hella amazing. Some rhymes may be whack but it still is good.

CL smooth really isn't the greatest MC..he's okay..and I'm normally quiet bout this, but I dont see anything special bout CL smooth
lyrically, cl is an average rapper. ill be the first to say that t.r.o.y is a classic song, but most of the time pete rock carried the songs with his beats
No, i think CL and Pete were good together... well at least on Mecca and the SOul Brother, Pete could have gave beats off there other album to Nas.
