Question: what if these or who ever you follow like a lemming was to make a song in which they glorified pedophilia, incest, genocide (which a lot of rappers pretty much do), spousal abuse, bestiality and wearing white after labor day. now now dont get pissy yet. im saying what if the song said all this but with a really catchy hook and a banging beat, a mannie fresh beat! would you still wanna listen to it and dance? and i mean they serious about this sh!t they actually want you to know what kinda person they is. would you still bump it?

To answer your question...i wouldnt...because that type of genocidal hip hop is not something i care to listen to. However, i do know several people who told me, when i tried to get to them to listen to talib, dead prez, and other socially conscious hip hop, "i dont care what's being said, i want to dance! If the beat is nice and i can get crunk to it, i like it!" What a ignorant way to live. So maybe if 50 or whoever did say something like "I know you cats out there probably hate me/ but yall just jealous cuz i sleep with babies/ and while yall droppin yo jaws/ dont forget i had on white after labor day, while sexin your dog/" and the beat was hot, people probably wouldnt give a rats behind.

I'm not really sure why you are asking such a question, no one in rap would ever rap about such things but anyways.
I think alot of people listen to and love rap because of what the lyrics are saying and the meaning of them. But I actually like all 3 of the artists you listed, especially Lil Wayne and 50 Cent. Though if they were rapping about some of the things you listed such as pedophilia, incest, genocide etc. I probably wouldnt listen to it because I wouldnt agree with the message nor would I want to hear about such things.

You said ( which a lot of rappers pretty much do) speaking of their lyrics and the meaning behind them.

I have to say i've never listened to any rap or even heard a rap song that glorified pedophilia, incest, genocide, bestiality etc.
Spousal abuse I know thats been rapped about, and wearing white after labor day? When did that become something so terrible?

But let me say this, you are targeting out rap with this question, and here is a simple answer.

Plenty of people would still listen to it no matter what it said. Because honestly there are plenty of people who listen to rock, death metal, heavy metal, emo. And hear about all the subjects you listed as well as antichrist and other very terrible messages

Genocide is the destruction of a certain ethnic or religious group, so I don't think I've heard any rapper rap about that.

Rappers always touch other parts of life and I don't think they would ever rap about these things. However, the rap lyrics are always good and this is why we keep listening to them.

I wouldn't listen to them in the first place..
