Why is rap talent and its quality declining?!

Question: Same reason as all music genres decline and revive. When a band or an artist becomes extremely successful over any period of time it is usually because they make music of a high standard within its genre (Whether their genre's standards are high or low is another matter entirely. Also, the standards can vary. What defines "good" is very subjective.)
Once the money comes in record companies start to look for other artists who can deliver the same style of music. But the problem is that making any good music is hard. So you have a deterioration in quality. That's how we got from Led Zeppelin to Motley Crue, record companies trying to follow a formula. But eventually the music will become so bad that it won't be succesful anymore, people will go to other music and the process will start on those genres. So rap music is probably going to reach new heights sooner or later.

im beginning to think some ppl like attractin the bashers to this section

because it became mainstream

Rap never had talent or quality to begin with so how can that be declining?

Unless, of course, it's dropping into the negative numbers ("less than zero").

EMT

All the good ones have been killed, imprisoned or to drugged out

EMT, go away.

The mainstream is declining, meanwhile the underground is well and alive. Thats because the record labels want anything catchy, because that'll sell. Before, rappers were skilled and catchy, but now they're signing people that are just catchy,

Is it? It depends who you ask.

I won't say who is bad but here are some of my favorite rap bands:

2LiveCrew
NWA
Beastie Boys
UTFO
Kid Rock
LL Cool J
ICP
Grand Master Flash
Tech9
