It's Pachelbel's Canon. Contrary to the other answerers, it's NOT called Pachelbel's Canon in D...the "in D" part just refers to the key in which it was performed. It's usually done in Bb, actually. It's also known as "Simple Gifts."
See if you can find a youtube clip of it or something, this will help us answer your question.
