OK ,How do you stop destroying your house and each other when dancing to the &qu!

Question: Haaa! Great Welsh band lead by Dave Edmunds in his pre-Rockpile days! I have both of their albums released in 69/70 on vinyl, as well as reissue CD's. Sabre Dance was on the 2nd album titled 'Forms and Feelings'. The song was written by Armenian composer 'Aram Khachaturian' back in the 1940's, and Love Sculptures version clocks in at over 11 minutes if I remember correctly!

The song would be familiar to any of us that ever attended a big top, or traveling circus when we were young. Great little ditty for bears to show off their dancing skills, or ride their shiny red bicycles around in a circle. This song has also been used for the purpose of whipping an elephant into shape on a Sunday afternoon!
I've put many holes through my walls with my feet, elbows etc thrashing around to this song. I really don't know of any other way of dancing to it. If you do, please let me know!

I live within close proximity to the Rocky Mountains, where I enjoy hiking the beautiful trails. Sometimes we have grizzly bear warnings posted. This might scare some people away from time to time...but not me! When I carry my big boom box with that tune cranked, I'm sure all them big bad grizzly bears retreat in fear of recruitment!

Also, check out the version by 70's Dutch progressive rock band 'Ekseption', it's great also.

Here's a great video of Dave Edmunds performing the song in 1991:

Here's an edited(shortened) version by Love Sculpture set to a montage of images:

That is not a good question. Please post something better. No one cares.

WOW Kit...Dave Edmund's Love Sculpture, pretty cool stuff. This band I have actually heard ant the song in question is pretty darn good. I'd have to say I'm a slightly bigger fan of Rockpile though. But anyway, that's a darn good question
