80's 90's dance show?!
Question: there was a teen and older dance show in the late 80's early 90's. We watched it in Illinois but i thinkmy brother watched it in colorado and arizona. It was like the other dance shows. it had the freestyle, hip hop and other types of dance music. some of the guest stars were groups like stevie b and the cover girls. anyone know what it was called?

I think it was "Dance Party USA", on the USA Network.
I think Kelly Ripa was a regular on that show when she was a teen.

Possibly Soul Train? If that's the show you're thinking of, that isn't the original show. The original show was from the '70s and the host of the show was a singer from a '70s group - I think he was from The 5th Dimension, but not sure.
