It's actually a cute song, but to answer your question, radio companies are only licensed to play certain artists. They have to have a contract with them to be able to play their songs. And honestly, if you don't have that many contracts in a month or so, you're forced to play the same "hit" song over and over again. That's just how the music industry works.

Plus, it's giants like Clear Channel that control what's played on radio & that's why we've got an on-air wasteland of the same 10 tired songs over & over again....

Songs appear on the radio because of record label politics (bribes - payola).
They get played often for the same reason at first. Later they are played often due to a high request volume.

I agree with u. But people just like it cuz everyone shedding so much light on the new singer and cuz they think her song relates to them in some way. I think they play it to much, and it's getting old and annoying

I have never heard this before but I thought it was quite catchy?coming from Bonnie Scotland we do not hear that on our Radio channels and just now its all Christmas songs take care
