Question: if ur kind enough help me answer the following questions for the 4 musicals because i have 10 to do myself and it due tomorrow.( you can find the songs on youtube) if not can u tell me where i can find the informations. i tried google, it doesn't have.
4 musicals:
1.joplin: "Maple leaf rag"
2. parker: " Bloomdido"
3. schubert: " erlkonig"
4. Bernstein:" west side story " tonight" ensemble.
questions:
1. when was it composed?
2. Which musical style period does it belong?? ex: middle age, baroque etc.
3. what type of piece is it? ex; symphony, concerto etc.
4.was it written for someone or some occasion( supply some history)
5. are there dynamic changes in the piece?
6. descibe the color tone. how they interact?
7.decribe the rhythmic elements in the piece:
8. is there an obvious melody? who has it?
9. Do you hear harmony? who has it?
10. do you have minor or major or both?
11. decribe the texture
12. who is performinthe piece
