i listened to paramore 2 years ago and they were very good. that was back when next to no one knew who they were though. and i listened to avenged sevenfold 3 years ago when i was in 8th grade and next to no one knew who they were too. and now chiodos is getting onto mtv too. mtv ruins bands. F*CK!

I second Avenged Sevenfold. M Shadow can still belt it out decently enough on records, but man, they're awful live. His shot vocal cords really hamper him, and the guitarists are sloppy as hell.

Anyways, my choices
Evanescence - people just keep hyping about the band and saying how they love lead vocalist Amy Lee, but there's just no appeal, even with their 2 singles this year Lithium and Sweet Sacrifice, the latter is actually up for a grammy this year but only has a 0.40% chance at winning.
Fall Out Boy - once again, another band that is just overhyped to hell and really really comes out even more flat. I have yet to hear one song that has engulfed me, plus bassist Pete Wentz is very annoying.
Radiohead - I haven't heard their new album yet, but the fans have to stop acting like music snobs to the point music isn't enjoyable at all
Linkin Park - well, I'm still a big fan of LP, but their new album was just average...songs are way too overplayed from them...I'm actually surprised the station is playing Shadow of the Day knowing the other current rock hits they play are much harder and energetic.
avenged sevenfold by far, i'm so tired of hearing about them it's ridiculous, they use to be an ok fun band, nothing to go crazy about on CD but a great band to mosh too, THAT'S IT !! they aren't that good
paramore used to be a halfway decent band, now they are sh!t bubblegum pop with guitars, they should be ashamed of themselves
