Question: I'm having a so far two day long arguement with a friend of mine. One of us says that The Buggles wrote "Video Killed The Radio Star" while the other says The Bangles wrote it. Who actually wrote it and why is there such confusion?

It was the Buggles. I don't know why there is any confusion. Maybe because they both start with a B and end in gles?
It was the Buggles that sang the song !!! came out in 1980 or so !! It's still a great song. The "Bangels" were the group that sang the song "walk like an Egyptian" that was 1984 or so !!
