Question: my ex boyfriend is moving away soon, and I wanted to dedicate a song to him that would tell him that I love him, but in a friendly way, and that what he had in our past should be left in our past. My love for him is innocent and pure, not romantic or sexual. I've moved on, and I want him to know that we will always be friends no matter what, but we had our chance, and now it's time to move on for good.
I don't want it to be mean or nasty, just heartfelt and honest, and I guess comforting.
