Question: my ex boyfriend is leaving, and I wanted to dedicate a song to him that shows him that the relationship we once had was good while it lasted, but it should stay in the past - and we should both move on before we hurt eachother again. I'm completely over him, but he's in love with me still... but I don't want him back. I just want him to know I'm happy where we're at right now-- just being friends.

I think the nicest song you could use is Tattoo by Jordan Sparx. It shows that you need to move on, but you'll never forget him. Also, Big Girls Don't Cry by Fergie has this effect, but it doesn't deal with remembering him as much. Also, you could change the lyrics to a song so it says what you want to say, he may appreciate this more than a song.
