Question for guitar guys?!
Question: my boyfriend is really into playing music on his guitar. he has like 3 guitars and a whole bunch of sound stuff he hooks up to them. im not really sure what it all is so work with me here lol lol.. recently he was going to sell all his stuff. im talking like five thousand dollars worth of equipment. i talked him into keeping it. well his friend moved back into town and now hes playing again lol lol.. is there anything i could buy him to show my support? i cant buy him a new guitar cause he already has one picked out he plans to buy with his income tax money. what are things guitar guys want and use? what are good books i could buy that he could learn to play? help me out here. i want to show him that i support his hobby. he thought in the past that i didnt like him playing. hes still kinda shy about playing his guitar around me.

well the question is what kind of money are you wanting to spend...playig guitar is like play golf, expensive as all hell. you could buy him a new guitar pedal (sound stuff) but you're looking at anywhere from $80-$200+ for basic single effect boxes. http://www.bossus.com/
there are a variety of acessories that you could get him...i dunno maybe a shirt that says fender on it or something like that, a mess of picks (every guitar needs more picks) maybe some patch cords (leads, 1/4 inch). STRINGS? cleaning supplies...like polishes specially made for guitars.

you could buy him a new amplifier.. well, you could also buy him a new guitar strap or guitar picks. but you could also show him your full support even w/o spending.. just watch his gigs.. i'm sure he'll love that
