Answers: The closest I've ever gotten was answering this question, Geezers RULE!

I lived in Eagle Colorado from 88 to 91 and John Denver used to come into my parents party store. I talked to him many, many, many times and he was always the consummate gentleman.

Charley Pride/ Back in 1993 at a Dallas airport. Thank God For Video Cameras!!!

Kenny Rogers and Jerry Reed stayed at a hotel where my mother worked as a night auditor. I happened to be doing a Job Shadow project for school the night they both came down and shared a pot of coffee and some humorous stories with us. Not once did I think to ask for an autograph, I was only 12 at the time and didn't realize they were famous!

My husbands uncle is an OLD country legend Cowboy Weaver. My husband has met a lot of country legends.
Dolly Parton, Conway Twitty and others.

When I was kid, my folks would take me to all the country shows as they came through town. After the concerts we would stay behind and talk to the singers. The two most memorable were Slim Dusty and John Williamson.

God bless Slim Dusty

Back in 1983 for my fourth birthday I got to see Crystal Gayle in concert. She stuck around afterwards to meet with everyone. She autographed a big poster for me, Even wrote my name on it too! I got a hug and a picture with her too. I was totally star struck. Even still to this day she has and always will be forever my favorite singer! She is such a wonderful person! :D

When I was eight, I bumped into Roy Acuff at his record shop/museum in Nashville. Minnie Pearl was there, too.

My proudest moment was interviewing Bill Anderson for a magazine in 1992.

I met Conway Twitty once way back in the 60's, he was doing a personal appearance at a music store. He had a huge head full of glossed-up hair and smelled like a cologne factory. But he was real nice to me!

Patsy and Peggy Lynn(Lorettas Twins) back in 1998,
Donna Fargo after a concert in the 70's
George Jones ,did not know it was him until the concert begain-it was in a bar.
And my favorite was Gospel legend Ben Speer.

Used to play back-up for Ernest Tubb... We had long talks. Sweet man.

Not "Legends" yet, but also played with Jerry Jeff Walker, Townes Van Zandt, Micheal Martin Murphey, B.W. Stevenson, Guy Clark, Peter Yarrow, and Carolyn Hester.

I was a country disc jockey for about 12 years, I loved it! Got to meet Johnny Cash, The Statler Brothers, Charlie Pride, The Kendalls and some others. Was a great time in my life!
