Who knows the band Hole?Any interesting observations or comments?!
Question: Hole are another one of my favourite bands that almost no one I know has heard of. I think we're all agreed that Live Through This is the best album, but which songs? My favourites are Doll Parts, Jenifer's Body and Asking For It.
Does anyone get what Courtney's writing about in some of the songs?
Like for me Doll Parts gives an impression of worthlessness
Also, I can never hear Kurt singing... when does he appear?

I actually thought ''Live Through This'' was a pretty good disc. I don't believe as a person , Courtney is any more of a mess than Morrison , Hendrix , or Joplin was and everyone thinks they are gods.
Courtney Love's band?? hmm if the music is as descent as her then I know why not alot of people have heard of them?? idk

All those songs you mentioned were stolen from Kurt by that drunken ***** Courtney Love. She sucks. I've observed her on TV, and I'm commenting on her now. She sucks.

I don't think Kurt sings on any of the Hole stuff, that I know of. I thought the band was pretty average, and overhyped. Also, they would have never gotten as famous as they did if it hadn't been for Kurt. That said, a few of their songs from LIve through This were pretty good, but Courtney's antics ruin it for me.
When Live Through This first came out, I pretty much dismissed the album as Courtney Love was the singer and I pretty much couldn't stand her. These days I still can't stand her but I listened to the album again about a year ago and, I'll probably get some thumbs down for this, but I found it to hold up better than any of the Nirvana albums. Miss World, Doll Parts, Rock Star......the album had some solid songs and made me realize that she could put out a good album even though I despised everything she stood for.
